Sağlam Metal started its activities in 1989 as a company founded by Hakan Koçak, and continued to work in this product group in 1997, focusing on special steels and copper alloys for tool, mold and machine parts. In 2005, production of imported copper alloys started in Çayırova. In 2007, Dörrenberg Edelstahl became a partner by acquiring shares from Sağlam Metal. In 2016, the company commissioned its second production facility in Balıkesir and increased its production capacity of bronze and copper alloys.
Today, Sağlam Metal continues production with over 300 employees.
